Sicily, Italy is a place well worth visiting and below we look at ten reasons why Sicily is a place worth considering for a vacation or holiday.

1. The Etna volcano: If you love scenic beauty then Sicily has it all. Stand on top of the Etna volcano. You can see the ocean on a clear day and in winter time, you can ski down the Etna. The Etna is an active volcano which is a must see site. You can walk around the old crater and there is also the choice to do an organised hike further up the side of the volcano.

2. The Sicilian beaches: Sicily has some beautiful beaches including in Catania. The aptly named beach La Plays, is a particular nice beach with excellent facilities i.e. deck chair hire, refreshments hut and volleyball courts marked out, on the beach. The beach itself is sand, with palm trees dotted around.

There exist many factors why vacation goers enjoy to go on a Caribbean cruise vacation and that is not just because they like the idea of going on just a cruise ship which already is a vacation before you even set foot on any land. I would like to introduce you to the Florida Keys. More specifically, Key West as it is the most sought after destination in the area for sun seekers, fisherman, and those in search of nightlife at the far reaches of the island chain. Key West as the most southerly point in Florida and the most popular Keys destination, is the crown of the Conch Republic. Washed by the waters of the Atlantic and Gulf of Mexico to the east and west respectively, temperatures range from 69 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit with an average around 40” of rain a year and has around 24,000 year-round residents.

Madrid deserves respect. As the capital city of a rapidly emerging player within the European community and also the capital city of a country whose language is arguably the third most spoken tongue in the world, this city deserves respect.

The crazy thing about Madrid is that quite often it is viewed as being second to Barcelona in terms of appeal. Now I know Barcelona has the Cathedral, the Nou Camp Stadium and was the venue for the most recent Olympic Games to be held in Spain but to write Madrid off as Spain’s second city seems to miss the point completely.
