Vacations to Lake Tahoe Make for Memorable Ones

Vacations to Lake Tahoe are filled with clear waters and a panorama of mountains that are home to ski resorts in the winter and outdoor recreation in the summer. Frequently called Tahoe, you’ll find this freshwater lake in the Sierra Nevada mountains along the border of California and Nevada, just west of Carson City.

During the winter months, vacations to Lake Tahoe are filled with some of the best skiing in the world. There are over 12 major ski areas where besides just downhill skiing, you can also find lots of cross country skiing, snowtubing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing and lots of trails to do them on.
