Canyon Lake, a reservoir located on the Guadalupe River in Texas, offers loads of recreational opportunities for people of all ages and interests. Nestled amidst the lush landscape of Texas Hill Country, Canyon Lake was originally developed in the mid-1960s by the US Army Corps of Engineers to provide flood control and water conservation, but today consists of eight park areas suitable for camping, hiking, picnicking and more.
