People express their all time delight visiting Japan and see its historical monuments and places. Japan had numerous historical structures, wards and towns before majority of them were obliterated or trashed either by the fires, wars or merely following the restoring them over a period of time. Still some of colonies and urban set-ups have managed maintaining the street block or whole of the ward of conventional structures. The list of several such best maintained historic city wards and towns, being the principal facets of tourist interest, are appended below for the intending tourists.
