There is just something about the ocean breeze and salt spray that makes a holiday on an island something you won’t soon forget. Because islands can be found in every ocean and near every continent, island holidays can vary widely. You can lay on a beach or watch whales, study botany or shop native craft stalls. It’s all up to you when you plan your island holidays.

Like many of the islands of Hawaii, the Big Island hosts a number of marvelous waterfalls. Most of the waterfalls are located on the south east side of the island, in the area around Hilo and further south towards the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park.

This city has a twin. If combined with Saint Paul they would form the core of the 16th largest metropolitan area in the United States. Surrounded with plentiful water bodies, you would find no other restful place as the city of Minneapolis, Minnesota. This city is the largest City for Minnesota but as well as it is the county seat of Hennepin country. 2008 will be a great a memorable year for the two places, Minneapolis and the state Minnesota, as each will celebrate their sesquicentennials.

This is the center and most important place of China’s new economy. It is the largest cargo port in the world. It is a city of more than 18 million people and is competing with Hong Kong as the country’s financial capital. Chinese Mandarin is the language the business community uses to communicate.
