Copper Mountain was referenced as the best ski slope in “North America” by the US Forestry Service, for its incredible natural resources and capability to accommodate for novice, advanced and expert skiers. Based only 120 KM from Denver airport and with 160 metre distances of pure skiing fun, Copper Mountain is the sole spot to go skiing in America.

Heavenly Ski Resort is Lake Tahoe’s premier mountain resort, straddling the border of California and Nevada. When it comes to views, this resort is at the top of my list. From the top of the mountain, you look to one side and see the sapphire-blue waters of Lake Tahoe, then look to the other side and see the dramatic views of the Nevada desert.

Lake Tahoe is the gem of the Sierra Nevada at any time of the year but particularly in the winter. Sitting astride the California-Nevada state line about fifty miles northeast of Sacramento and less than fifteen miles southwest of Carson City. Easily accessible via U.S. Highway 50, Lake Tahoe has many vacation condos available throughout the year but the area is especially known as prime ski vacation country.
