Nature isn’t all that’s on display here, either. There are plenty of historical sights to engage the mind and the memory, as well as plenty of varied attractions that will appeal to guests of all ages.

Florida’s Gold Coast History And Attractions

The ‘Gold Coast’ name comes from the times when people used to steal gold from Spanish Galleons wrecked along the coast, which apparently carried large amounts of gold and silver coins. This stunning shoreline of about 60 miles on the Atlantic features a string of sandy beaches running from Jupiter in Palm Beach County to Fort Lauderdale, and including also Miami and Miami Beach.
