Weather in the Northwest is actually quite mild. The seasons are there, however they are not as pronounced as seasons in places like Salt Lake City, Utah for example. The winters are mostly rainy with temperatures rarely below forty five or fifty degrees. Spring comes a bit late, the summer is somewhat shorter and fall creeps in usually mid September.

The weather in Las Vegas in January and February is better then the weather is in much of the United States, and elsewhere, but it’s not perfect. It can be windy, cold, and even a little wet at times. Snow is possible, but less likely than hitting 5 blackjacks in a row. You will probably be able to enjoy golfing in Las Vegas in January and February as long as the wind isn’t blowing very much and the sun is out.

When planning a trip or vacation in a tropical climate such as Mexico it would be a good idea to know when and where hurricanes occur. Hurricanes and more generally, tropical cyclones occur in seven distinct areas around the globe. Several hurricane formation basins are much livelier than others and manufacture many more tropical storms and hurricanes.
