Discovering Future Weather Conditions at a Vacation Destination.

Despite all our hard work weather can still ruin vacation plans!

This page is a guide that shows you how to increase the odds of good weather at the vacation destination of choice. To display this page as a separate stand alone page so that you can read and follow the instructions hold down the “shift” key and click on the link at the top of all posts.

1. Begin your research by clicking on the Travel Guide & Weather tab located at the top of the page just under the graphics.

2. On the “travel-information” page you can enter a city and then click Fast Forecast. The example we provide uses Alicante Spain. OR you can just click on Fast Forecast.

3. When you get to this page, locate the Trip Planner tab. Click the Trip Planner tab.

4. You should now be at the Trip Planner Weather screen. Type the name of your destination into the Location dialog box. Make sure you include a comma separator between the city and the country or state. In the example we use Alicante, Spain. Next enter the beginning date of your vacation in the From: dialog box, then enter the last day of your vacation in the To: dialog box. Click on the Submit Button.

At the top of the page you will see a summary of past weather at your destination for the dates you selected. Directly below the summary is a day by day table for the same two week period for multiple years. There is one caveat. The weather is like the stock market Past performance is no guarantee of future perfomance!.

The maximum resolution is a two week contiguous period so the To: date should be within 14 days of the From: date. If Your stay is longer than 15 days say 30 days, perform two lookups : From: 1; To: 15 and then From:16; To: 30.
